Health and Safety Net

What We're Doing

United Way supports a safety net of services to help ensure that everyone in central and northeastern Connecticut has access to:

  • Emergency and crisis services such as shelter and food;
  • Disaster services;
  • Mental and physical health services such as counseling and home health care;
  • Services for those with intellectual disabilities; and
  • Information and referral through United Way's free 2-1-1 helpline.
