When you give to United Way Community Investment, you support programs and initiatives that help to provide the building blocks of a good life - education, income and health - for everyone in our region. And a careful review process makes sure that every dollar you contribute is spent wisely.
Each year, more than 70 experienced volunteers from across our region work in small teams to review program proposals and meet with each United Way partner agency. Together, volunteers and staff ensure that United Way supported programs have met stringent standards for management, governance and financial accountability and that they are creating real, lasting change.
