Attention all runners and walkers! There's still time to register for the 14th annual Pratt & Whitney Runway Run & Walk to benefit the United Way Community Campaign. You can participate in the 5K run or 1.5-mile walk, or as a volunteer.

You can register online now, or register on race day outside Rentschler Field starting at 3:30 p.m. Minimum donation is $27 if you register by 9/13, and $30 if you register on 9/14. Cotton T-shirts will be given to the first 200 entrants and technical t-shirt upgrades are available for an additional $5. Refreshments will be available after the race along with raffle prizes. The race course circles the stadium and continues out and back along the old east runway of Rentschler Field.

Awards will be given to individual runners and walkers, to the fastest 5K team (top three members of team, with team size unlimited) and to the top team fundraiser (teams may include runners and walkers). Awards will also go to the top individual fundraiser and those that raise Silver ($100) and Gold ($200) amounts.

Volunteers are also needed to assist with registration and event logistics both in advance and on the day of the event. If you would like more information or have questions, please e-mail event coordinator Stephanie Tanner.
