UPS Reaches $1 Billion In National United Way Giving

This summer, UPS and its generous employees exceeded the $1 billion milestone in nationwide contributions to United Way. UPS has been a United Way contributor for 28 years. Locally, UPS presented a check for $10,000 to the 2010 United Way Community Campaign. The gift represents a corporate contribution designated to United Way Community Investment, which helps to provide the building blocks of a good life – education, income and health, including a safety net of services – for everyone in central and northeastern Connecticut.
