On the August 2011 edition of United Way's Community Connections radio show, aired live on Saturday, August 27, 2011, we learned how partnerships among businesses, nonprofits, schools and government are helping young people explore local career opportunities and set goals for a brighter future.  

The Hartford Community Schools partnership will have an additional $100,000 to support further development and expansion into more Hartford public schools, thanks to an award from United Way of Central and Northeastern Connecticut.
